Technique training and coaching for beginners and professionals

Catch your dream

My philosophy

Every rider is different in their strengths, weaknesses and way of learning. That's why I specialize in one-to-one training and coaching - because that's the only way to realize each athlete's full potential.

I create for you an individual training plan based on your goals, which can be expanded from driving trainings of several disciplines to fitness and nutrition plan as well as mental competition preparation and race support.

Through optimal preparation, no obstacle or situation will be able to surprise you during a competition.

I look forward to helping you achieve your goals!

Training

Enduro

Endurance for man and machine

Away from groomed trails, you need a mix of trial and motocross techniques to traverse the roughest terrain.

The physical endurance and mental strength is crucial to not despair after 120km and 8h riding time on the last hillclimb.

During a race, the enduro rider must be able to repair his bike on his own. An additional difficulty I prepare you for accordingly.

Motocross

Increases speed and confidence

Even though motocross requires a certain amount of courage, here too technique is the key to good lap times.

It starts with the correct basic position, through the braking, cornering and jumping techniques to the supreme discipline of the scrub.

A very good physical condition is crucial due to the high intensity to be able to exist on the cross track.

Trial

Perfects balance and technique

Trial is like no other discipline for building and optimizing eye technique, body position, clutch, brake and throttle control.

The foundation built here can be transferred to any other discipline. A strong trial background enables you to participate in extreme enduro events like the Erzbergrodeo or Red Bull Romaniacs.

Rally navigation

Finding the way while you ride

In rally, it is not only how fast you ride that decides the day, but whether you end up where you are supposed to be. Reading the roadbook, working the tripmaster, holding a heading — all of it while the terrain under you keeps changing.

Getting lost costs more time than any crash. So navigation is trained the same way technique is: standing still first, then slowly, then at speed.

We build it on real roadbook sections, not paper exercises. We ride the route ourselves — and I know from my own races exactly where you lose the thread.

Coaching

Strengthening for body and mind

Two lines from A to B on a blackboard — one tangled, one straight

There are many factors that influence the way to the goal and the performance at the competition.

I support you to get the maximum out of your body, to prepare correctly for competitions and to be able to deal with emotions so that you can keep a cool head even in stressful situations.

How it works

From the first conversation to a plan

  1. First conversation free of charge

We talk before any money changes hands. You tell me what you want to achieve, and I get a picture of where you are: how much you ride, what comes easily, and what holds you back. Fears count — they are the most common reason a technique does not stick.

  2. The plan

Out of that comes your plan: which disciplines, what pace, how many days. Anything beyond my own level I hand to partners and other coaches I trust — quality first. What you get is a path to your goal, not a list of offers.

  3. Training

Then you ride. After every session we look at what works and what does not, and adjust the plan. A plan that never changes was not a good plan.

How training is run

Where

Training happens wherever it fits the goal. Most often in Liguria, where I have a training track available to me.

A training day

One-to-one work tires you quickly — full attention on every metre costs strength. So the day is split: technique on the training track in the morning, and in the afternoon a ride where exactly what you practised gets used.

Women's power

From woman to woman

Not everyone wants her first time off-road to be among nothing but men. If you would rather learn away from testosterone and competition, at your own speed, this is for you.

It is not a different programme — the same technique, the same standards. Only without the pressure to keep up. I have walked the same road.

Women's trainings are possible at any time, one-to-one or in a group. And so are dedicated women's tours.

Holidays

Trips

Hard enduro in the Ligurian Alps

Not a training camp — a holiday on a motorcycle. Hard terrain in the Ligurian Alps, ridden in small groups of two to five.

Never more than five. In hard terrain every single rider needs attention, and a large group turns into a queue at the first obstacle.

The route is cut to fit the group. If you ride at different levels, I keep heading for playgrounds — places where everyone can take on what challenges them while the others ride at their own pace. That way the whole group gets its money's worth, and nobody is left waiting.

Dunes in Tunisia together with Dustseeker

The sand in Tunisia is extremely soft. If you know Erg Chebbi in Morocco — that feels like a motorway next to this. What it takes here is precision and technique.

And it is remote. On the tour we get up to 80 kilometres from the nearest gravel piste — nothing but dunes around you, 360 degrees.

Two service vehicles come along, the service team puts up the tented camp, and they cook as well. You ride and enjoy it — the team takes care of everything else.

Arrive earlier and you can book a training package first: reading dunes and riding dunes, before the trip starts. A dune training on its own, without the trip, is possible too.

The trip is run together with Dustseeker; the training comes from me.

Who teaches you

The head behind the Swiss Motorcycle Academy

Jasmin Riccius

I sat on a motorcycle for the first time shortly before my 25th birthday. Everything I can do today, I worked out step by step — which is exactly why I can see where you are stuck right now.

In training I pass on my own way of riding. Not a method out of a manual: the technique that got me from a first enduro holiday in the Romanian mud to a European title.

For anything beyond my own level, I work with partners and other coaches. But the coach stays the same. I am the one who defines the way to your goal together with you, and who walks it with you.
